Planned on the early morning fish today, woke up feeling dog shit at 4am so
rolled over and slid back into slumber. Spent the day with the fam and headed
off with the Kayak on the roof at 6pm. Capel river was the target, got there and
got the boat off the truck and into the water, tied on a couple lures and
proceeded to catch absolutely fuck all. Trolled up and down a usually good
section of the river without so much as a bite.
Great way to start 2023 right?
Got the boat back on the roof and headed down to
the dam for a flick about 7.30pm, no luck here either. When I say no luck I mean
not even a friggin bite, nothing, zilch. Guess the fishing god wasn't on my side
today. Oh well, thats the days you get when you fish right?
